After working as part of Higher Ground Rock Climbing Centre for the past seven years, Emergency Care Training Services, LLC has finally spun off as its own new company. This change has been years in the making. We still use Higher Ground Rock Climbing as our nerve center, but we will take our training on the road in order to best serve your needs. This means that we have the best of all worlds- a place to hang our hat and store our equipment as well as the flexibility to go anywhere or hold classes at Higher Ground's facility.
This move also gives us the ability to work with Higher Ground staff to facilitate such courses as "First Aid for the Fallen Climber" or "Self Rescue" and "High Angle Rescue"

Learn Wilderness First Aid in the area were you will be utilizing it. We can take our classes on the road to the most remote places to teach you the skills that you need. Classes are forming now for the summer in the back country of the Adirondacks of upstate New York. - First Aid For The Fallen Climber

Learn what to do when a fellow climber falls. This class teaches how to escape a belay, how to jumar up and lower down the injured climber. Teaches First Aid specific to fall injuries. If you are a climber of any ability or a summer camp worker who runs Top Rope sites, then this class is a must on your to-do list.
